Dog-friendly travel tips!

Before taking your dog on a hotel holiday there are some essential products each owner must have! Even though hotels state they are ‘dog friendly’ it doesn’t mean that the hotel will be adequately equipped for your dog’s stay. Therefore, it is better to prepare yourself!

Dogs clean up products!

Even if your dog is well trained and hasn’t had an accident in years, taking your dog to a new place can be overwhelming for them. Just in case there is an accident, we recommended to take  a carpet cleaner. This one comes with a brush to scrub stains which is really handy and will avoid an extra charge at the end of your stay!

Toys!

Taking some of their favourite toys will make them feel more at home. Giving the dog a new toy can also bring some excitement to the place. Remember to bring toys such as ball launchers to use on your walks! below is a great travel toy, which you can take on all your dog friendly trips.

Dog crate/ bed

Bringing a dog’s bed from home can make them feel more relaxed in an unknown environment. Additionally, the dog bed a hotel provide may be low quality and uncomfortable for your furry friend! This travel dog bed is perfect for all your adventures! It’s waterproof and rolls up for easy use. The bed can also be used in the house or be kept in the car for weekends at home.

Doggy First Aid Kit

Staying at hotels that are dog friendly are quite often surrounded with fields, rivers, and most importantly new surroundings where accidents can happen. This dog first aid kit has all the basics needed to treat cuts, splinters, and a foil blanket for heat! A great emergency item to keep in your car for when you are travelling with your four-legged friend.
